No, they are a natural product and not flame retardant. Care must be taken with open flames near them
There are different options available.
As standard, we will deliver bales to you location and they are unloaded next to our van/trailer and would need to be returned to this location when we collect. We can arrange for the bales to be carried and set up for an additional charge. If you would like to take advantage of this, please arrange before delivery. Please also let us know if the bales need to be taken up stairs or in a lift
We can arrange for this 7 days a week. We will work with you to arrange a suitable delivery time. We can also arrange out of hours, early and late collections, but this may incur an additional charge.
Bales will naturally shed and therefore it is worth making sure your venue is aware and happy with this. It is often useful to have a broom ready to sweep up and excess straw or hay. Our drivers are not able to remove excess mess.
We can hire bales in various quantities. Feel free to get in contact to discuss your exact requirements. We can cater for small and large events. We have supplied bales for parties, weddings, school fetes, festivals, barn dances, corporate events and photo-shoots. We love the variety of our work and happy to work on events of all types.
Yes, bales booked in advance can be collected and returned to us if you would prefer.
There is not a lot of difference for seating. In the farming world, straw is made from harvesting the stalks of wheat or barley. It is used for bedding for animals. Hay is grass, mown, turned and harvested. It take 3 days of good weather to make hay. Generally it is used as animal feed.
Straw is brighter and more golden in appearance than hay, which is much softer.
Yes we do, we have a range of covers & blankets we can provide for a small additional cost.
Not as standard but we do offer a range of coloured covers that can be used to wrap bales. The bales are comfy enough with any additional padding but using throws, blankets etc can help protect clothing.
Bales are £5 each to hire and £8 each to buy. Discounts are available for larger orders - get in touch to see how we can help. Delivery and collection charges apply.
No VAT
Our bales are stored in locked containers.
